Understanding the NT registry is critical to understanding the NT operating system. This sessions is intended to provide an NT system manager definition and practical registry usage. Topics will include: - What is the registry - How is the registry used - When and how to edit the registry

Objectives:
What is the registry ? Be able to describe and understand the registry of Windows NT
 
How is the registry used ? Describe functional uses of the NT registry
 
When and how to edit the registry, use the registry tools constructively  

Prerequisites for attendees:
Understanding basic installation and operation of NT

Required Skill Level:
Intermediate
