Abstract:
Those who attend will walk away with an understanding of: o TruCluster environments, o TruCluster software processes and their interaction, o How to configure storage for various levels of redundancy, o How to configure cluster interconnects such as SCSI, Fibre Channel and Memory Channel, o Configuration of RAIDsets on HSx controllers and how to the operating system associates device files to HSx unit numbers, o Basic to complex TruCluster configurations, o Basic installation and configuration of the TruCluster software components, o How to choose and implement a hardware and software configuration that best meets their needs.

Objectives:
Pick appropriate hardware for basic to complex TruCluster designs
 
Decide on an appropriate TruCluster software design
 
Configure storate backup solutions for TruClustes  

Prerequisites for attendees:

Required Skill Level:
Intermediate
