Abstract:
Tired of hearing the same old speakers giving the same old talks? DECUS is crying for volunteers to speak! Have you ever been approached to give a technical talk, but declined because you felt you lacked the skills to do a good job? This session has been designed to demonstrate that it IS possible for almost anyone to develop and deliver an informative technical presentation. Find out for yourself - it's not as hard as you think!

Objectives:
Identify the elements of a good presentation
 
Practice some of the basic skills involved in making presentations
 
Volunteer to give technical presentations at DECUS  

Prerequisites for attendees:

Required Skill Level:
Introduction
