Abstract:
Have you ever been using SDA and found something it would not do for you? Do you have a need to debug user-written device drivers or display data structures of your own interest? We now offer a documented and supported interface to add your own commands to SDA. This session will explain how to write, debug and invoke SDA Extensions. It also describes how to build, load and unload an execlet image. An example on how to combine these items into a powerful trace and debug utility is also part of this tutorial.

Objectives:
Understand the concept of SDA Extensions
 
Use the call-out interface to SDA in order to add commands to SDA
 
Write and build your own SDA Extension image  

Prerequisites for attendees:

Required Skill Level:
Intermediate
