Abstract:
This session will address the issues of project planning a migration of VMS applications to Windows NT. In addition the session will cover real examples of applications written in different languages from VMS to NT. Focus also will be on the tools and utilities designed to reduce the time and risk associated with rehosting a mission critical application.

Objectives:
Understand the process of creating a project plan for migrating VMS applications to Windows NT.
 
Understand the tools and technologies available for the fast migration of VMS application to Windows NT
 
Evaluating complexity and risk mitigation in rehosting VMS application to WindowsNT
