Abstract:
Testing is important even at this late date. We will discuss the issues around setting up the OpenVMS testing environment. The speaker will give a brief presentation on "How to Perform a Year 2000 Test on OpenVMS" which has been given at previous DECUS symposia. Then everyone can discuss the realities involved with testing at this late date.

Objectives:
Attempt a Year 2000 Test on OpenVMS with confidence.
 
Learn some of the technical tools to recover from a test.
 
Learn from others experience in OpenVMS Y2K testing.  

Prerequisites for attendees:

Required Skill Level:
Intermediate
