Oracle Parallel Server has evolved into a mature, feature-rich product over the years. In this session, we will emphasize the new features of Oracle8i that relate to Oracle Parallel Server. This is a very technical session, giving a full and comprehensive coverage of all Oracle Parallel Server topics with a focus on the Compaq platforms.

Objectives:
Understand all concepts & components of an Oracle Parallel Server System
 
Recognize all the new features in Oracle8i Parallel Server
 
Understand the issues facing with the design, setup and maintainence of an Oracle Parallel Server system. Gain the ability to tackle most.
