Abstract:
Dig into Cluster Serverís terminology, abilities and weaknesses. Solutions that complement and extend MSCSí capabilities are reviewed. These include public network resiliency, Distributed Lock Manager/Cluster File System and Storage Software that eliminates the restrictions of shared-SCSI clusters. The session also discusses the tradeoffs between shared-nothing and shared-disk clustering styles.
