Abstract:
"Remote Manager" is the name we have given to the significant new features being added to ACMS for OpenVMS to enhance the capabilities to manage the ACMS application environment. In this session, you will learn how to use the Remote Manager to monitor, control and modify a running ACMS system. Additionally, you will learn about the SNMP interface and the remote management API.

Objectives:
Understand how the Remote Manager fits into the ACMS environment
 
Understand how to use the Remote Manager to monitor, control, and modify a running ACMS system
 
Understand how the Remote Manager integrates with popular enterprise management tools
