Abstract:
Each year, US companies lose an estimated $26 billion* in lost data, lost time and damaged hardware caused from power-related problems. Compaq Power Management solutions are the only products designed and tested to complement your investment in Compaq hardware. This session will focus on ensuring access to data in the event of power outages, the integration of Compaq Power Management software with Compaq Insight Manager and the overall advantages of Compaq UPS products over other offerings. As a special bonus, session attendees will also be eligible to participate in a drawing for a free gift during each session. Objectives:
Understand power related issues and how they can protect their data using UPS products
 
Understand that all UPSs are not created equal (i.e. power factor corrected vs. non-corrected UPS products)
 
Articulate benefits of Compaq Power Management Solutions and how these solutions can be deployed in their environments
