Abstract:
In today’s enterprises, messaging and collaboration applications are highly mission-critical. As a result, organizations must continuously look for methods to maximize server uptime while minimizing total cost of ownership. In Exchange Server 5.5, Microsoft has devoted specific focus to scalability, manageability and reliability by including support for Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS) in Exchange Server 5.5 Enterprise Edition. This session will provide detailed information for Exchange Server and MSCS deployed on Compaq ProLiant servers. An overview of high availability and Microsoft Cluster Server will also be provided. Finally, a discussion on the decision points for choosing deployment of Exchange Server in a clustered environment along with the expectations and limitations.
