Abstract:
Compaq's OpenVMS operating system continues to prosper alongside Windows NT, UNIX, MVS and others. OpenVMS clients with POLYCENTER need a broader enterprise management solution to manage this total environment and meet Y2K and OpenVMS 7.2 challenges. Migration from POLYCENTER to Unicenter TNG for OpenVMS is described.

Objectives:
Migrate from POLYCENTER to Unicenter TNG for OpenVMS
 
Understand the functionality required to manage OpenVMS as part of the enterprise
 
Understand how to meet Y2K and OpenVMS 7.2 requirements for management  

Prerequisites for attendees:
Knowledge of OpenVMS and POLYCENTER.

Required Skill Level:
Intermediate
